How do I report a Block?
Click Report on the Block, then include the token ID/link and a short description of the issue.
How are reports handled?
- Prohibited content and CSAM are reviewed as top priority.
- Prohibited content follows an escalating enforcement: 1st violation - Block hidden for 7 days, 2nd - 30 days, 3rd - 90 days, 4th - permanent removal/ban.
- CSAM is always reported to law enforcement, with no appeals.
- All other reports are reviewed within a set timeframe. If we take action, the Block's owner is notified and, except in cases of CSAM, may appeal.
Scam warning
Pixeldeed never DMs you first, and we will never ask for your seed phrase, private key, or a "verification" payment. If you receive a message like this claiming to be from us, please report it.
FAQ
What is Pixeldeed?
A 1,000x1,000-pixel grid (1,000,000 pixels total) divided into 10x10-pixel Cells. Groups of adjacent Cells ("Blocks") are minted as NFTs. Each Block's owner can display content on it, resell it, or rent it out.
How do I get a Block?
- Whitelist window: free minting (you only pay network gas).
- Public mint: opens after the Whitelist Window ends. Pricing TBD.
- Resale market: Blocks can also be bought anytime from an existing owner (see Resale below), so even outside the mint windows, buying a Block on the secondary market is always an option.
Is any of the grid reserved for the team?
Yes, roughly 10% of the grid is set aside as team allocation. This is disclosed upfront for transparency.
What happens after I mint?
Connect your wallet, then upload an image, title, and link for your Block. It goes live after automated moderation, which usually takes just seconds.
Do I actually own my Block?
Yes. It's a standard NFT and Pixeldeed is non-custodial, we never hold your Block for you. We can hide or remove content that violates our rules, but we cannot seize the NFT itself; ownership stays with you.
What content is prohibited?
Illegal material, phishing/scams, sexually explicit content, hate speech, and IP infringement. Violations follow the escalating enforcement above. CSAM results in a permanent ban and a report to law enforcement, with no exceptions.
Can I resell my Block?
Yes, anytime, at any price you set. Pixeldeed takes a 5.5% commission on the sale.
Can I rent out my Block instead of selling it?
Yes. Renting lets someone else control the Block's displayed content temporarily, without transferring ownership. Pixeldeed takes a 2.5% commission on rentals.
What are the fees?
See the Fee Schedule below.
Is my wallet secure?
We will never ask for your seed phrase. Pixeldeed cannot recover lost wallet access, and blockchain transactions are final, so please safeguard your keys carefully.
